Upon entering the home, quality design and impeccable workmanship is instantly apparent. The exposed sugar gum trusses are a thoughtful addition, which is mirrored throughout multiple interior aspects.
Expansive double-glazed, floor-to-ceiling windows are a prominent feature of the living room’s design and provide sweeping scenic views of the Cathedral Ranges. Likewise, the incorporation of a Cheminees Philippe wood heater creates an additional point of interest that is practical yet further enhances the home’s countryside charm.
From the outset, attention to sustainability was a key component of the residence and was designed with off-grid living in mind. A substantial roof catchment area, combined with the addition of twin 32,000L water tanks, provides the home with a water supply that’s more than adequate for domestic needs, while the treatment plant ensures the water is safe for use.
