NAWIC Award

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) recently honored Sharon Hedger with a commendation for the award of Outstanding Achievement as a Business Woman.

NAWIC’s mission is to promote and improve the construction industry by the advancement of women within it. The Business Woman award recognises the outstanding achievement of a woman who is a director, owner, partner or senior manager of a company which is directly involved in the construction industry.

As co-owner of Hedger Constructions, the award recognised Sharon’s commitment to her team, highlighting factors such as the company’s significantly above average staff retention rate, quality constructions, genuinely satisfied customers and Sharon’s community leadership as the basis of her commendation.
